Santa Muerte Rosary Prayer

I want to preface this by saying that this is NOT my own prayer. The original creator of this exact rosary prayer is unknown. If you happen to know who it is, please comment and I will credit them. This is a rosary prayer I found on another devotees blog, and they also didn't know the original source. I'm sharing it on my blog as instructed by mama because she wants more folks to have access to it.

This specific rosary prayer is not the traditional prayer that is spoken, as the original includes more traditional catholic influence, and the catholic rosary prayer.

It's important to know that as a devotee you don't have to practice the traditional ways which have you go through God to speak to mama muerte. Yes, respect her ROOTS before catholic influence, and respect the ways people connected with her after that influence. They did so to protect themselves. You don't have to follow that, but educate yourself on her evolution.

Her rosary prayer is a big part of devotion to her, as is prayer in general. But I have found that she very much enjoys when her devotees pray this prayer to her.

I've heard from another devotee that reciting her rosary prayer protects you from sudden death, and when she does come to take you it provides you a peaceful transition. This prayer also keeps you connected even more to her, and you will feel her presence strongly when reciting it.

You can speak this prayer as an offering, during your novenas (pray over a candle for 9 days straight) or as a way to strengthen your connection, and any magick that you do with her specifically.

I pray that it serves you well:

To begin, hold the medallion or amulet depicting the image of the Santa Muerte in your hands and pray the following Santa Muerte Rosary "Opening Prayer":

"Santa Muerte, Holy Death, I offer these prayers for you.

From the altar in my heart, to your ears,

may you find the words sweet, and their meanings true.

Santa Muerte, Holy Death, I offer these prayers for you.

On the first bead, pray one "Our Santa Muerte":

Our Santa Muerte who will come for us all, kind and gentle be your kiss. When you come to end my life, may I be free of any regrets. Thank you for this day, one more beautiful day, so I may have it to live, love, and laugh my own way, amen.

On beads 2-4, pray one "Glory Be Holy Death":

"Glory be Holy Death, blessed death, peaceful death. As you have been with me from the beginning, so are you with me now, and so will you be with me always, amen."
